Companies send their requests to China because it's cheap for the companies to make the objects in China, because Chinese workers don't get paid much.

That's so true I'm disgusted especially since Australia is actually exporting their merchandise to these people it sickens me and they in return get shitty tainted poisoned fruit and veggies both "fresh" and frozen and I still can't understand why on earth Australia is still buying this shit when they have some of the best produce ever. I  hate the toys to also don't forget the formaldehyde chemical in the clothes they make to prevent colour run people are actually allergic to the stuff.

Yeah without those products just let all of us die in the hunger of poverty, unless any of the genius here can come up with a brilliant idea of feeding 14 billion people.

We need to give support to the American, European, Canadian, etc. economies by buying their products.

China is an industrialist militant state where the workers get paid minimum wage when they basically work their asses off. But can't do shit about it. I'd rather not support an economy like that.

Not all Chinese products are of poor quality; you just need to know what to look out for.
Even though there is still a bit of imitation in China, China is moving towards innovation such as LED light globes in the shape of a candle.
I have a list of respectable Chinese brands, which include Haier and Changhong - for monkey bikes, Lifan is also on my list of favourite brands.
My frequency counter for my workshop is made by respectable Chinese company Atten (I got it on special).

Is this our fault though? lol
When everything was stamped with Made In USA, it never stopped working (antique radios, fans, etc...)
There were a lot more jobs here too. What would be good is if each country made its own stuff like that.
As one of the previous commenters mentioned, it's all America's fault that it's being done how it is. :/

But if companies are going to China, how can you?
It's the same everywhere.

Most companies go to other countries because sometimes people accept being payed less than where the company originally came from. It's all to do with currency and money. It doesn't make China the 'bad guys'.

Try live with absolutely no China things(Made in China, assembled in China, Chinese companies, Chinese food, or Chinese workers in your country etc) in your life for one year. See if you can stand it. If yes, well, I have no objections. 中国人忍受了多少不是我们的错!

excuse me! it's your freaking american companies that are telling the chinese to make their products. the chinese can't help but be given little money, so do you freaking expect high quality materials? they use the chinese for cheap labor. back in the homeland, people are barely getting by on some of the lowest income. do you understand that GOOD THINGS are made in china as well? not all of the stuff made there is bad.
i respect your opinion, i honestly do, but us chinese have to deal with racism already. we get criticized for eating all sorts of animals, we get humiliated because we ARE chinese, and i don't find it fair that people are blaming the chinese for bad products.
yes i agree some products are very bad. they are. let's face it, some are just shit. but there are other countries that make low quality products as well. ...

Being half Chinese, I am a bit offended by your statement and judging here, Many things are made in China, true, but there are also many things made in India, Korea, Italy, the list goes on and on. Why is the first person you blame China? Anyway, even though something may say: "Made in Italy", it might be made in a factory with CHINESE workers inside. Do you know how many things you own were made in China? Many common things are made in China. How many were "Made in America"? PARTS of cars or other thing are made in China sometimes as well.

I do agree somewhat with you though, and I can understand why you might be bashing China. I know that there have been many problems with manufacturing in China, but there are many other places guilty of this too.

*I'm sorry if I come sounding a bit harsh, also, sorry If you are offended, or bored by my rant. I just feel like you are unfairly judging us. :/

You know, Japan was like this a while back, too. My teacher was actually just telling us today, that they actually had a joke that whenever something broke, they'd laugh and say, "Made in Japan!" The Japanese used to make just about everything sold at the "Wal-Marts" of the time, and were often associated with low quality products. Well, look at them now... XD

So just give China some time. They've already come a long way since the end of WWII, which I say is some pretty fast development. (And lets not forget that while the rest of the world was economically flourishing, the Chinese were dying by the millions after the rise of communism.)

And plus, China makes everything, from cheap plastic toys to high-tech machinery.
